Stroke can happen to anyone at any time, but if you’re South Asian (someone of Bangladeshi, Indian, Sri Lankan or Pakistani origin) you may have a higher risk of stroke than other people in the UK. This factsheet explains the factors that can make you more at risk of a stroke and what you can do about them. This publication is available as a free download.
