The FAST leaflet explains how to recognise some of the most common symptoms of stroke using the FAST test. We want as many people as possible to be FAST aware, so feel free to share it with friends and family or in public spaces.

This poster explains how to recognise a stroke using the FAST test:

  • Facial weakness: Can the person smile? Has their mouth or eye drooped?
  • Arm weakness: Can the person raise both arms?
  • Speech problems: Can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
  • Time to call 999.
