The AccessibleStroke Support Pack is for healthcare professionals to order and give out to their patients whilst in hospital. Â
It is full of essential information and communication tools to support your patients and their families to learn about communication after a stroke. Our communication guides and tools will help people to find answers to important questions about aphasia and other communication problems, as well as some practical tips, and a communication card to show to others, to help them better understand what they’re experiencing and how they can help. Â
Note: The information contained within the AccessibleStroke Support Pack ‘hello’ folderis the same as the Communication Support Pack. Â
How to order Packs are supplied in boxes of 15. Orders are limited to a maximum of 4 boxes, 100 copies per order. This may be adjusted based on hospital team feedback.Â
Order 1 item to receive 15 copies.Â
Order 5 items to receive 75 copies (this is the maximum order).Â

The AccessibleStroke Support Pack contains two aphasia friendly information guides: ‘stroke’ and ‘your communication after a stroke’ for people with communication difficulties and a communication card they can show others. Plus, a communication picture book designed for those with moderate to severe communication difficulties. This book can help your patients to communicate well in hospital, at home and in the community.Â
There’s also a ‘communication problems after a stroke’ guide,for people who are supporting someone after a stroke. Â
