Swallowing problems are very common after a stroke. Almost half of people who have a stroke will have some difficulties in the first few weeks. This booklet talks about what happens if swallowing problems last longer than a few weeks. It’s aimed at people who have had a stroke but there is information for family and friends as well. This publication is also available as a free download.
