Helping someone with communication problems
Around one-third of people who have a stroke have problems with speaking and understanding what other people say. This booklet explains how a stroke can affect someone’s communication and what you can do to help them. It’s aimed at the friends and family members of someone who has had a stroke, but it may also be useful for stroke survivors too. This publication is available as a free download.
